Silo: A Dystopian Book Series and Upcoming TV Show on Apple TV+

I am excited to learn that the Silo TV series will be available in May on Apple TV+, based on the best-selling book series, Silo.

I first heard about this series in 2018, so I downloaded a sample on Kindle, and I read a few pages, and it was interesting. But I did not buy the book yet! It is still in my Kindle library. For sure, it will be on my 2023 reading list!

For some time, I have told myself that I should return to reading books. I miss reading books. In recent years, the internet has taken over my life, and I find myself reading tons of emails and articles across various platforms like Facebook, Feedly (RSS), and more. Unfortunately, my eyes get tired when I finish reading them, and I never get to read books.

But this year, it will be different. I will read at least one book every month. If I can. 🀞🏼🀞🏼🀞🏼

I am currently reading "A World of Curiosities," the 18th Chief Inspector Gamache Novel written by Louise Penny, a Canadian author best known for her mystery novels featuring the character Chief Inspector Armand Gamache It is my first book by Louise Penny. I have seen a couple of articles mentioning it for a while now. So, why not give it a try? It was okay for the first 50 pages, but now it is getting more interesting.

After that, I will read "Wool," the first book in the Silo series.

Silo, the Book Series

Silo is a gripping dystopian book series written by Hugh Howey. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the remaining human population lives in a massive underground silo over 100 floors. The story follows the lives of the silo residents, their struggles, and the mystery surrounding their existence.

The series is divided into three books, each a page-turner. The first book introduces us to the silo world and its inhabitants. The second book delves deeper into the history of the silo and the events that led to its creation. The third and final book ties up all the loose ends and delivers a satisfying conclusion.

  1. Wool (2011)

  2. Shift (2013)

  3. Dust (2013)

Overall, I was told Silo is an excellent book series well worth the read. It is a thrilling and thought-provoking story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
